Healthy Soups for Baby

[Last Updated: 24th Feb 2020]

Weaning food for your baby must be soft, home cooked, fresh, mashed and semi-solid.

After six months, your baby needs other healthy foods along with breast milk. Growing baby needs more nutrients and only breastmilk is not sufficient enough for growth.

Once your baby is six months old, start offering semi-solid foods and  mashed fruits or vegetables to your baby.

You can start offering the vegetables to your baby in the form of soup, soups are fully packed with energy and nutrition. It is easy to prepare and digest. Its a comfort food for kids and adults, especially when someone is sick.

I really love to serve the soups in the evening during the winters.
